Generous Giving

God doesn't need anything from us, but He invites us to join Him in transforming the world. In addition to using our gifts, talents, abilities, and experience - we invite you to worship through generous giving. When we are faithful and generous in our financial giving, we demonstrate our trust and faith in God to provide as we living in obedience to Him. At First Baptist, we understand that there are many different methods for us to give financially. Here are the methods available for you to give financially to what God is doing in and through the ministries of First Baptist.

Giving is a powerful aspect of worship for followers of Jesus. Unfortunately, giving can easily become more of a way to impress others than an act of worship between the worshipper and God. Before, during, or after the worship services at First Baptist, we invite and encourage believers to worship through financial giving by using an offering box located on an information table near the back of our worship space. 

You may also drop off your offering by the church office any time during business hours from 8:30 am through 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday. 

You may already use your bank's bill pay option to pay for things like your electric bill, auto insurance premium, or cell phone bill. While it may sound a bit strange to consider your financial contribution to First Baptist as a bill, you can utilize the same bill pay system to give generously to everything God is doing in and through the ministries of First Baptist.  

You can give generously to the ministries of First Baptist through the Vanco Mobile app (which replaced the Give+ app) powered by our partners at Vanco. Simply use your mobile device (smart phone or tablet) to go to the App Store (Apple) or Google Marketplace (Android) and download the free Vanco Mobile app. Once downloaded, you will be asked to enter the church's zip code (72560). Then select First Baptist Church of Mountain View, and follow the instructions to set up your account. If you already utilize online giving or the old Give+ app, your account information will be the same.

We understand that many of us don't always carry around checkbooks or cash with us. Now your have the opportunity to give generously using the same online tools you use everyday! Simply click, the Online Giving button below to go to First Baptist's online giving page through our partnership with Vanco. You can set up a profile, make a one-time gift, or set up a recurring donation. While you can use a credit card, we encourage you to use either your debit card or set up an ACH transaction directly from your checking. You can even choose to contribute a little bit extra to help offset our transaction fees.
