The excitement and anticipation of Easter Sunday is wonderful! Watching children hunt eggs and candy is always fun. Enjoying a great meal and a relaxing afternoon with family and friends is never a bad thing. Somehow, though, it seems that we are missing something. Somehow it seems as though Easter was meant to be something more than pretty dresses and a trip to church.

Easter was never meant to become simply a day we celebrate. Easter was always meant to remind us of the sacrifice that Jesus made on our behalf. It was to remind us of the grace that has been poured out upon us and new life we have been given. Easter was always meant to remind us to live every day of our lives in light of the resurrection. But, what exactly would that look like? What would it mean to live life in light of the resurrection?

We invite you to join us on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am beginning April 8 as we rethink how the truth of the resurrection should reshape our daily lives. After all, the resurrection changed everything – including every aspect of our everyday lives.
