God always intended our faith to be centered more around a living room than a worship center. Don’t misunderstand. Something amazing happens when the church gathers together to worship, encourage, and challenge one another. However, the building blocks of our faith cannot simply be learned in a classroom or a worship center. We need to hear the truth, but we also need to witness the truth being lived out by people seeking to follow Jesus in the everyday moments of life. We need to see “what it looks like” to follow Jesus when our masks have been removed. We need to see Jesus in our closest, most vulnerable relationships. You see, our faith was never intended to reside at the church’s address; our faith has always been intended to transform our living rooms because faith begins at home.
