Awana at First Baptist

We are excited for another year of Awana at First Baptist! This year Awana begins with in-person registration on Wednesday, August 21 with free bounce houses, hot dogs, popcorn, and popsicles! Our regular Awana activities begin on Wednesday, August 28. 

Every moment matters because every moment is an opportunity to point a child toward the love of Jesus Christ! One of the greatest ways to leverage moments with children is by allowing faith and fun to intersect. Each Wednesday night, from 6:00 - 7:30 pm, faith and fun collide at First Baptist’s Awana club. Awana is a free, fun, and exciting ministry designed especially for children in Pre-K through 6th grade. In Awana, children engage in a lesson from the Bible before going to a small group and having the chance to earn rewards as they work through Scripture memorization. They also participate in fun games and exciting events, and everything is designed just for them!
